Look What Josh Can Do!

Baby Josh is almost mobile. He can scoot himself backwards, and just today he started propelling himself forward in tiny bursts after getting on his hands and knees and rocking back and forth. The only problem is, he can't really control where he is going yet. So sometimes he gets himself into tight places. For example, the other day he backed himself into the space between our entertainment center and our DVD cabinet. And he turned and kept right on going- pushing his legs under the entertainment center.

Don't worry- his head isn't squished. He is just gnawing on the edge of the DVD cabinet. He does that sometimes. Just like a puppy dog. He also chews on shoes. And Steve's nose. (or whatever is near his mouth.)

And, when there isn't anything around him to chew or suck on, he satisfies himself with his own appendages- arms, fingers, and, our favorite, toes. Who needs a pacifier?!

The first photo really makes it look as though he's in pain! And I do think it's very cute when babies suck on their own toes.

Oh it is just so fun to watch the stages of a baby- can't wait for that again! Right now I get to chase around a stubborn toddler that's getting closer and closer to the terrible twos stage. :) Sigh, it goes by just too fast!

That first picture is too funny. He is such a cute kid! I have about a million pictures of Zander when he was Josh's age eating his socks that he would pull off of his feet. We finally had to quit putting socks on him.

Steven....
This is Jacob Hintze,
My wife and I are going to be down in Fairview over conference Weekend. Finding out that you live in Ephriam, I thought it would be fun to meet up, plus since you have a baby and we are expecting our first at the end of October, my wife is wanting to ask everyone and anyone to prepare her to be a mother. I was wondering if Friday afternoon would be OK with you and your wife. Email me @ JMHintze at gmail dot com. Look forward to hear from you.
