I did it. I had to wear a jacket, but I did it. I barbecued hamburgers tonight outside. I have officially opened the 2009 outdoor barbecue season, and let the festivities begin. Let me smell that charcoal grill, the sweet scent of the delicious sauces and spices, and the oh-so-heavenly aroma of burgers, dogs, chickens, and steaks. I've been staring longingly at the grill that has been packed away all winter, and I decided that tonight was the night. So, all you grill-enthusiasts, sharpen your forks, polish your spatulas, stock up on the sauces, and let's break out the grills! (Heavenly voices sing) It's Grill Season!

I'm with you. Grilling season is the best time of the year!
Nothing quite like a charcoal grilled hamburger! It was a great dinner (even though Dad forgot to get the hamburger buns) - Thanks, Mom and Dad Mathie
Another plus about SG: Grill Season never ends. Now that, my friend, is definitely heavenly.
Hey Steve, if you're going to dry-rub your "barbecue season" right in the frost-bitten face of everybody who lives in the still-frozen, subarctic, permafrost land of Cache Valley, the least you could do is bring us up a steak or something. Maybe some grilled chicken.
For crying out loud... barbecue season. With still a week to go in February! HAH! I'll be watching for you guys to put up your Christmas tree in August.
Good grief.
LOL I agree with Jordan. Jimmy probably would go out and barbeque in a coat too except...it's still too cold for that too. :) Well...enjoy it down there, anyway. :)
yay I love spring and Summer. Lets BBQ!!!!!
