And So it Begins...

Today when I dropped Josh off at the babysitters, he cried when I left. Really cried. The babysitter called and said he crawled over to the door, banged on it, and cried- we are talking real-tears-down-the-cheeks crying. I could hear him crying through the door as I walked away!
I guess the separation anxiety is starting- for Josh anyway. I have been having separation anxiety since the first time I dropped him off! I know that it is an important part of development and all that jazz, but it is so darn sad! I guess it is a good thing that in a few weeks I will be cutting back my hours so he isn't at the sitter as much.
No pictures with today's post, but hopefully we will remember to take some pictures of the new, improved kitchen cupboards to post tonight (since the Internet in our apartment is FINALLY working!)

Poor Josh! Hopefully it won't be too traumatic for him for too long. After awhile, most kids really enjoy going to their babysitter's.

That is so sad! I hate when they start the anxiety phase. Well I should say love and hate. I hate that they are sad. Buyt it nice to know that they love you!! Hang in there!!

I hate transitions, and it is just hard that with kids you have to go through them constantly. You can't live with 'em, you can't live without 'em. And sometime in the future you will leave, he won't cry, and you'll be sad then too.
