Just Like Daddy

Steve is constantly adding more elements to the toy room in our basement. Which means he is often painting when the kids are playing. He recently added Peter Pan flying across the ceiling.

While he was working, Josh wanted to help. He is always trying to be a helper. So we laid down some newspaper in the closet, removed his shirt, and gave him a brush and white paint. Josh was so excited to be "helping" Daddy. And I think Daddy was a little bit proud that Josh wanted to be doing what his daddy was doing.

SO fun - I love that Steve paints these murals. Richard doesn't paint, but he makes awesome toys and furniture for our kids. I think it's just special to have something made by dad.
