Since Abby is an expert crawler, we had to rig the top of the stairs so a baby gate would fit. A few 2x4s and screws later, the stairs are finally baby proof. However for some reason the gate is an Abby-magnet. Now that she is standing, she loves the gate for making standing up so easy- with all those places to hold on. 
Whenever she is on the floor, she makes a beeline for what we like to call the "Danger Zone" because while the gate is perfectly secure, every time she stands there I can't help but panic that the gate is going to break and she will tumble right down the stairs.

Yup- my little girl isn't even one and already she is pushing boundaries!
