Today is our 4-year anniversary. Where did the time go? I woke up this morning (not the half-wake up I do to have prayer with Steve before he leaves in the morning, but the actual-wake up when I get dressed and everything) to find roses, a movie and a note on the kitchen table. Steve is able to do all sorts of sneaky things in the morning because he knows I sleep like the dead. We get to celebrate by Steve having class tonight from 4:30 to 7, and then by Steve working in his caricature booth all weekend at the Scandinavian Festival. :( It has been a fantastic 4 years though! I love you Steve!
And- here is a great visual reference for what 4 years looks like in nieces and nephews. Here are the Mathie nieces and nephews (minus Miles- for some reason I don't have a picture with all 5 of them...) at our reception.
And... here they are at this year's Mother's Day BBQ. Holy cow. 4 years is a lot in kid-years!

I love the photo of all the kids with Grandpa and Grandma Great!! (but wow, Grammie has sure aged a lot since I saw her last...even since I saw her in a photo taken just a year ago...please don't tell her I said so though...)

How fun! Congrats on 4 years! I wish we would have seen you at the Scandinavian Festival. It was my first time going and with 3 kids I didn't get to see many of the booths. We need to have you guys over after we settle into our house. I can't beleive we've been in Ephraim this long and haven't even met your wife and son.
