Three Strikes and You're OUT!

So, I just have to tell the funny stories that happened this weekend. It seems Baby Josh was determined to throw up in my mouth. The first try was at Steve's sister Kelly's house. I had fed him and burped him like 20 minutes earlier and I was having him stand on my lap. I lifted him up to pretend he was flying (like I do often) and BLAH! He threw up. It was just to the side of my mouth- about 1 inch to the left and it would have gone right in.
Round two was that night at Steve's parents' house. I was holding him in the kitchen and Steve's mom noticed I had some spit up on my shoulder. Then Josh turned his head to look at everyone and his face was COVERED with spit up. It looked like a little Phantom of the Opera mask.
Finally, right at the end of Relief Society yesterday, I was holding him again. He hadn't eaten for about an hour this time so I figured I was safe. I held him up again (but not as high as last time- I'm a quick learner) and he was just smiling. Then suddenly BLAH! Right in my mouth. Luckily I have cat-like reflexes so I could close my mouth before too much got in. Kelly and Steve's mom were laughing so hard they were crying. I was laughing too. It was dang funny. EXTREMELY GROSS, but dang funny.

The same thing happened to me when Zander was little. But I was lying on the floor holding him above me when he spit up & it went in my eyes, ears, mouth, nose & hair. Chris had to hurry & grab Zander & grab me a rag (While he was snorting with laughter) so I could at least see to go take a shower. I feel for you.

That is so funny! Claire wasn't much of a spitter, but she did manage to spit in my eye once. That was disgusting too.
