Complete role reversal

During our 3-year stay in Logan while attending USU, I have had a job as a shuttle bus driver for the school's transportation department. But for the past 2 years, I have discovered that if I drive the morning route, I can get so much more accomplished during the day because my work day is over at 10:30 in the morning! So I made it a habit of waking up at 5:00 and leaving the house at 6:10 to get to work by 6:30. (I'd try to get there a little bit early to get the good bus!) I'd leave the house and wake up a groggy Kristen to kiss her goodbye, and she'd mumble out something incoherant, and I'd be on my way.
Now, we have moved. I'm no longer employed by USU, and therefore don't have to wake up quite so early. It's summertime, and needless to say, I had forgotten how good it feels to sleep in! This summer I have the unique responsibility of being a stay-at-home dad while Kristen works. (It's only until I get a real job that provides insurance, though...) This morning, she woke up as usual to get ready to go to work, and lo and behold--She wakes ME up to kiss me goodbye, and I mumble something incoherant! Wow. It's amazing how roles can reverse so quickly. So here I sit trying to take care of a fussy boy who has just woken up himself, pondering how funny life can sometimes be.

I love you sweetie! I am glad you get to spend time with Josh while I'm out bringing home the bacon for a little while.

You are far more polite than I...When Darrin leaves, I do not wake up. He has to kiss me on his on and pray for us all whilst I'm sleeping. My problem is, if I wake up, I'm AWAKE. It pretty much sucks...
