Josh's Surprise

Josh had one of the greatest surprises of his life a couple weeks ago. Someone in Gunnison made a Mater from a broken down old tow truck and parked it in front of the theater when Cars 2 opened.

We parked halfway down the block and started walking toward it (from behind). I asked Josh "What do you see up there?" He peered down the street and exclaimed "Mater! Mommy- I see Mater!" It was awesome. I couldn't even get a picture of him looking straight at me because he was so excited to tell everyone who walked by "This is Mater. Do you see him?"

Then he asked if we could take a picture of him sitting by "Mater's Tail" (the tow cable). I asked him "Are you excited? Show me you are excited!" and this is the result:

What a fun surprise for a pretty good kid. He keeps telling people now "Mater was in Gunnison! I saw him!"
