Josh has a Cars beanie which he recently decided is his favorite thing to wear. Friday night he wanted to wear it all night- and he looked like a little gangsta with no shirt, his jeans falling off his butt, and his beanie. It was awesome.

We especially love that we could see his "underwear"! Just like a real "gangsta"!

In other news, we had to make an emergency trip to the hospital on Saturday night to check on the baby because of some heavy bleeding. Baby looked fine in an ultrasound- very active- and the bleeding has stopped, but I'm still on bed rest for the next couple of days which means no holding Josh- which will be a big trial for both of us! Prayers would be appreciated.

Oh my goodness!! That doesn't sound good at all. I'm glad to hear things are okay though.
Josh is so cute! Be careful & take it easy girlie! I'll for sure keep you in my prayers.
How scary!! Hang in there guys, we are praying for you! I am sorry about the bedrest, its so hard when you have other little ones to take care of!!
When Jaicee was six months pregnant with our first baby, I got an emergency phone call at work (which, at the place I worked, was unheard of). It was Jaicee's gynecologist calling from the Hospital. She said that Jaicee had come in for a regular checkup but was found to be leaking amniotic fluid. She said that Jaicee is now in Labor and Delivery and really wants me to come to the hospital right away to be with her.
I freaked out, because, of course, the baby was not due for another three months. I had no idea whether the baby could survive if it was born this early, and if it could, all I could think of was living at the Hospital for weeks while our baby slept in an incubator.
My boss, upon hearing my plight, was kind enough to not only let me off work for the rest of the day, but he drove me to the Hospital himself.
I got there nearly frantic, and found Jaicee strapped to a bed, in the hospital gown, hooked up to every machine they have, with the baby's heartbeat pulsing on a screen by her side. I was a nervous wreck. I wasn't ready for the baby to come! Jaicee wasn't ready for the baby to come! The BABY wasn't ready for the baby to come!
After several hours in the hospital, it was determined that Jaicee was not, in fact, leaking amniotic fluid. The whole thing had been a false alarm.
And that was my traumatizing experience.
he's so cute! :) you're in our prayers, kristen. that's so scary! i'm glad that the baby looked fine, though and things should be ok. i'm sure you have good neighbors, it's ephraim! but if there's anything we can do to help, don't hesitate to call us! i'd be happy to come help you out!
wow! sheesh jordan! that would be scary!
Take it easy and get better. I know that's not easy for you! I hope things stay calm and uneventful from here on out. We're thinking of you and your little one!
Been there, done that. So not a fun experience. Hope everything turns out fine.
oh goodness! we will definitely be praying for you. hope all is well soon, and that josh won't be too crazy for you!
So scary. I am glad things are seeming better. Good luck with the bed rest. At least there is technology to keep you entertained, but I am not sure about taking care of the little one while on bed rest. I hope all goes well!
We'll keep you in our thoughts an prayers - that's pretty scary!!
Please tell Steve Happy Birthday from me. :)
