Shots are Hard!

Today was Baby Josh's 2-month doctor visit. He weighed in at 11 pounds, 11 ounces and is now about 23 inches long. The doctor was very impressed with his muscle control- especially with how well Josh can hold his head up! Josh was all smiles for the most part of the visit, until the nurse gave him his shots. Steve and I went to the doctor together just so we could give each other moral support during the shots. I was slightly better prepared than Steve because I once cut Josh's finger a little while I was trying to clip his nails. Steve has never experienced the "in pain" cry. The nurse was great though- she just went really fast so he could get all three shots over with quickly.
So, now we have survived another major hurdle! We made it through the first shots! Now poor Steve has to sit at home with Josh and help him calm down while I am back at work. Let me tell you- Steve sure loves our little guy. If anybody can be accused of spoiling a 2 month old, it is him! It makes me love Steve more to see how much he worries and frets about little Josh. No pictures to post today. Maybe next time.
Josh's baby blessing is coming up. I know- we waited a long time. But we wanted to wait until we moved to Ephraim so that family wouldn't have to travel so far. We will for sure have pictures of that!

Don't you just hate the "in pain" baby cry? Totally breaks my heart and I don't even have kids.
